The practical answer

For two Windows laptops with DisplayPort 1.4 Multi-Stream Transport (MST), the KD-E20 is the most direct match. It passes video, USB and up to 100W charging per laptop when the required power adapters are connected. If either laptop is a Mac, expect mirrored displays and choose a different topology.

Product-specific limits
  • Native dual extended displays use two USB-C ports on a supported MacBook.
