The practical answer

The iDock M10 is the strongest MacBook-plus-PC option with up to 100W Power Delivery (PD). The KD-E20 is better for two USB-C Windows laptops. In both cases, check whether the charger is included and connect the wattage the laptop needs.

Compatibility constraints

  • A 100W-capable KVM cannot supply 100W without a suitable charger and cable.

Recommended setup sequence

  1. Check the laptop's normal charger wattage.
  2. Confirm the KVM's power-adapter arrangement and whether adapters are included.
  3. Use e-marked 5A USB-C cables for 100W.
  4. Measure charging behaviour during a sustained workload.
