The practical answer

The iDock D23 explicitly supports 5120×1440 up to 120Hz. The HDK202-M24 also states 5120×1440 at 120Hz via Display Stream Compression (DSC). Avoid iDock C10 and iDock M10 for this requirement because their manufacturer states that 5120×1440 falls back to 3840×1080.
