The practical answer

The HDK202-M24 is the only current catalogue product whose manufacturer explicitly states 4K240 via Display Stream Compression (DSC). Use one display output and leave the unused second monitor channel disconnected. The work laptop may run at 4K60 while the gaming PC uses 4K240.
